Women have challenging lives these days. We spend so much time on all of the people we love and all of the obligations we have, we often forget ourselves. We immerse ourselves in taking care of our kids, supporting partners, being a good friend, co-worker, parent at school - and the list goes on. We know we need to exercise, eat better, take care of ourselves - but there just doesn't seem to be time for that. We juggle work, home life, finances and a myriad of other responsibilities. Yet instead of feeling like a success and marveling at all we've accomplished, we feel like it's not enough - a failure in some ways. On top of that, we feel like there's something missing. We may even feel a bit resentful, quickly followed by feelings of tremendous guilt. When someone asks us what we do for fun, we might laugh. Inwardly we wonder when we have time for 'fun'. Sometimes we wonder what we even really like to do. It's been so long... Or maybe the kids have grown and don't need you as much anymore or they've moved out entirely...and you feel a bit lost.
Does any of this sound like you? Let's fix that!
If you recognize yourself from the description above, you know that change is necessary, but you may not know where to start. Besides, it feels a bit selfish to actually be spending time on yourself. But did you ever consider that it's actually your responsibility? Yes, it's your RESPONSIBILITY to take care of yourself, to be happy, to be personally fulfilled.
What are you teaching your children if you live an unfulfilled, mundane life; a life that wonders how it could be or a life of unfulfilled dreams? Or even worse, a life that never dared to dream. How is that being a good mother or even a good partner?
Now, think about yourself, just for a moment. I know this may be new for you, but just try for a moment. Imagine yourself discovering your dreams. Now imagine that they are coming true. Think about how that would feel and what you'd be doing. Imagine how that would change how you think, how you look, how you see the world. Your dreams have come true.
Your life is balanced. You take care of yourself and are in great shape and good health. You successfully deal with stress when it comes and you've stopped the resentment/guilt cycle. You think abundantly and have manifested abundance in your life. You feel your own power and remember what a strong woman you are. Wow. Feel what it would be like to actually live that life.
It really is possible. Really. There are actual, concrete steps you can take to live that dream life. Wouldn't it be wonderful? Learn how you can make your dreams come true and be the woman in you that is truly living her dreams. What are you waiting for?
